Today's POTD is Mr. Monkey! I don't remember when Riley got this monkey, but it was probably when he was 2 or 3. I am not a huge fan of stuffed animals, but I have always liked the TY beanies/buddies, so this is one of the only stuffed animals that Riley has ever got. Well, Mr. Monkey is by far Riley's favorite. I wouldn't say he is attached to Mr. Monkey, because many nights Riley goes to bed without him. But anytime Riley isn't feeling well, or if he is sad, or if he just lays in bed too long and thinks about it, he wants Mr. Monkey! I have gone outside very late at night to retrieve Mr. Monkey from the car, and I have spent hours looking for Mr. Monkey just to find him hiding under the computer desk, or under the covers on Riley's bed. Riley really loves Mr. Monkey, and I am sure he will have him around for many more years to come! What a special member of our Family!
I love Mr. Monkey. Everyone of my kids had a favorite stuff toy that was their comfort. Braeden is even leaning towards a favorite already.
