Day 93

Sunday, April 3, 2011
Today we woke up to our window being broken.  We had really high winds last night and we believe a roof shingle got thrown into the window and broke it.  Not a lot of fun to clean up such a big mess, but we have shingles all over the yard, maybe we'll get a new roof out of it!

Day 92

Saturday, April 2, 2011
Zach started another year of soccer with Special Olympics.  He really didn't like soccer a few years ago, but the better he became at it, and the fact that he is playing with kids he knows better now, I think he is beginning to like it more and more.

Day 91

Friday, April 1, 2011
Today, somebody rang the doorbell, and when I opened the door, a young kid was standing on the porch holding this silver necklace.  He said that he was walking and found it in my neighbor's yard, but they weren't home and he thought it might be important.  I was surprised, that this day in age anyone would be so honest.  I guess there are still good people in this world!

Day 90

Thursday March 31, 2011
Today's POTD is of Riley doing homework.  This is a normal thing anymore.  He has to come home from school, have a snack and get started on homework, otherwise he won't get it done.

Day 89

Wednesday, March 30, 2011
My little geranium bloomed!  It is so nice to have a flower in the house.  This has been one hardy flower, it keeps blooming for me and I just love it.

Day 88

Tuesday, March 29, 2011
Today's POTD is of Ron in his favorite spot.  He likes to kick back after a long day at work and either play games on Club Pogo, or look up parts and or ideas for the bathroom job.  I think he is in his element: feet up, laptop on, remote close by, what else could he want?

Day 87

Monday, March 28, 2011
Riley chose to take a picture of the Bob the Builder pillow handcuffed to the entertainment center today.  It never surprises me any more what these boys will come up with while playing.  I guess I should be happy that they can entertain themselves for a little bit.
